This sophisticated collection contains fabrics that we can use for bespoke curtains, Roman blinds and upholstery, as well as a wide range of wallpapers to match. Our personal favourite here at Calico is the ‘Marble Rose’ design, which has been printed as both a wallpaper and fabric. Available in two colourways, this contemporary pattern is composed of decorative flowers placed onto a marble background. It is a bold design that will certainly make a statement in your home.

 ‘Sakura’ by Jane Churchill

In complete contrast to this print, Churchill has released the ‘Sakura’ fabric, a bright abstract design that features an ombré satin stripe. This has been created by a mixture of weaves which depict the soft gradient effect. Also available in two colourways, this fabric will add some colour to those dark autumnal days.

Not all the designs in this collection are as bold. ‘Collette’ is a softer print that is available in mid-tones to create a softer mood for your interior. This pattern features watercolour hues with a delicate gingko leaf painted on top. Digitally printed onto silk on to silk mix ground cloth, this glamorous fabric maybe tamer compared to a few other designs in this collection, but it is just as beautiful.

The ‘Alto’ fabric is a multi-coloured block pattern that features embroidered lines of thread work that subtly change in width across the cloth, creating an all-over stich effect. Abstract designs are what Jane Churchill has become known for, and with this fabric, it’s not hard to see why. This print is available in three colourways, and, like the fabrics already mentioned, can be used in multiple ways.

 ‘Lelani’ by Jane Churchill

Another interesting fabric is ‘Lelani’. This design is available in a broad range of rich colours and neutrals and features embroidered feathered leaves that curve from a stem. This decorative design is intricately detailed and can be used alongside a plain or patterned fabric in a variety of colours. Like many other pieces in this collection, this print is organically-inspired, incorporating nature into this beautiful design.

When we first saw the wallpaper samples for this collection, we were in awe of the stunning prints and patterns. The fabrics are just breath-taking, providing an opportunity to bring the natural world into any interior. The wide range offers a versatility to decorate your home with; if you’re not interested in the floral prints, then there are geometric patterns and more delicate designs for you to explore.
