The first of many exciting things happening this year was our trip to Maison & Object Paris, a major interior design event that features everything interior-related, from accessories, furniture, textiles, kids’ furnishings, and more, all displayed in a 360-degree style. It’s exclusive to trade and professionals, and also exhibits fashion as well.
A few members of our team attended this event last week; keep reading to find out what they discovered.
The centrepiece of the trade show was the range of lanterns that hung above visitors, displaying the names of the exhibitioners, such as Aldeco Fabrics and Kvadrat. If you search Maison & Objet, these will be the first things to come up, they were so beautiful, and even though they weren’t an exhibition themselves, they were one of the talking points.
One of the displays that caught the team’s attention was PMP Furniture. Their stall focuses on furniture that is ‘naturally different,’ and the exhibit was large and full of a range of seating and tables, perfect for lounging around after much walking! PMP Furniture is based in Poland and has customers all over the world.
Another fantastic display was Jacques Flamant, an interior company from Belgium whose mission is to create the essence of home, creating products that produce a cosy and inviting atmosphere. Their display featured straw hats hanging above exquisite table setting, plus a range of furniture, lighting and interior decorations.
Probably one of the most memorable exhibitions was by Silk-Ka, an artificial flower company from the Netherlands. Flowers and plants were scattered throughout the display, creating beautiful green imagery that drew in anyone coming that way, accompanied by a sophisticated-looking bar. It was one of the most breathtaking stalls at the show.
There was so much to see at Maison & Objet, and our team left feeling inspired and excited to see the collections that will be released throughout the year.
Below are the rest of the photos that our team took at the event.
