I just wanted to say a huge "thank you" for the fabric remnants I picked up last week. There were some really useful pieces which have already been put to good use for cushion samples, piping samples, buttonholes and zip insertions. I used some on Friday during one of my courses to demonstrate blind hemming and over locking. The lovely, thick velvet's will be cut into strips and I'm going to make a large woven rug. Some will be donated to clients and others will go to Ellwood School, 1st Clearwell and Sling Scouts and some will go to any further workshops I run in conjunction with Coleford Library. Thanks again, such a generous donation enables me to get more people sewing.

We surfaced from the busiest January sales period EVER with over 150 bookings taken over the group in just 4 weeks! However, what makes me proudest is the way that Clearwell has risen from the ashes - over 40 bookings taken in January alone and the best position EVER going forward into 2016!! I can’t thank you enough for your contribution in bringing back The Castle from shabby to wow! That Baynham Suite is a joy to behold as a case in point!

We were clever enough to choose Calico Interiors to help with the refurbishment of our bedrooms, selecting the correct fabrics for each floor of bedrooms and then making all the curtains, pelmets and cushions for the rooms. I have spent many enjoyable and productive days with my Director in Calico Interiors offices, working together with their designers to create wonderful mood boards. They have some fabulous fabric books to choose from in a wide range of price points. Once selected, Calico then make the soft furnishing for us. They come on site personally to measure the windows exactly to get the correct width and drop, leaving nothing to chance. Their team of machinists cannot be faulted for quality, their time keeping is excellent and their attention to detail 100% percent. All this and they are a lovely approachable team to work with.
